“When Trauma Hits Home!” —TRAUMA, GRIEF AND MENTAL HEALTH WELLNESS/MANAGEMENT CONVERSATION
Author Roxie D. Dawson is the co-sponsor and visionary of this event. After publishing her book, “Chased By Trauma….While Running Into Paths of Healing” in April of 2025, she felt a need to take the conversation into the community! This is the FIRST COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH TOWN-HALL type event that will have a four-member panel of licensed, professional therapist and licensed school counselors! This event is being held on the campus of Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Roxie DeWitt Dawson has been married for “42” years and even has a “Master’s Degree” in Marriage and Family Therapy! She now wants to share some of the most important and serious things that she has learned about marriage and relationships. This forty-two minute class will be life-changing for sure! Please join me at Ruler Day 5 where I will be doing an official Chased By Trauma book dedication. Ruler Day is a celebration of my youngest son, Darius J. Dawson who’s birthday is July 24th. There will be vendors, food trucks, face painting and more.
